Kenan won't keep still. i must find someone who has blue eyes and take his/her eye with the macro once again.

Day 66: Fragile [25/09/10]

Bart invited Chew and i to celebrate Siok Yee's birthday. i'm actually glad that it was just the four of us because it has always been just us (plus Chou Min). the dynamics of the group is just nice and no one is stepping on each other's shoes or making awkward gestures.

Day 67: Restaurant decor [26/09/10]

the birthday girl wasn't there half the time. two sizes larger tried to invite me again to some event i don't care about. i kept looking up to the decor in hopes that it'll drop and crush the other patrons on the otherside of the room. but the birthday girl asked me to come.

Day 68: The obligatory monthly gratuitous picture of yourself: September [27/09/10]

nine months in and i haven't lost a single kilo.

Day 69: Minecraft kills productivity [28/09/10]

my brother and i have been playing Minecraft a hella lot for the past few days. i give the game at least another week before it dies and i move on to something else.

it's raining a lot lately. i have things i wanna say but i've nowhere else to say them. maybe it's time i went back to writing in a journal.

Day 50: Yellow brick road [09/09/10]

i tend to try and find ways to distract myself from roadblocks and it often involves random photowalks. today was at the Putrajaya Botanical Garden. it's not that i'm avoiding my responsibilities, i can't do anything about them.

this photo involves opening the camera shutter for a long period of time and me clicking on the mouse through a slideshow from last year's trip to Fraser's Hill.

Day 53: Ponytail [12/09/10]

i went through photos from Bart and Siok Yee's vacation to Melbourne and seeing the city of Melbourne fills me with awe and excitement. no matter how corny or predictable those FB photo albums are, they have their own charm and fills me with excitement and anticipation of a trip to a modern city i will never have.

Lance and i were digging through some old boxes and chests to look for his PS2 and lo and behold we found this box of toys! we found the PS2 too, although it doesn't look very spiffy on the HDTV.

Day 56: The Origin of Species [15/09/10]

i have always been interested in the science of evolution and genetics, ever since high school. i thought if i could do something like this when i'm in college, i'd be accomplishing one of my dreams. as a matter of fact, i never realized how i'm currently doing something i've always wanted to do. i guess all the shenanigans and roadblocks shouldn't cloud my judgment about how my life sucks right now when i'm actually well on the way in accomplishing a dream of mine.

some of us run on limited amount of fuel and sometimes you need a good conversation just to slow down its consumption if just by 1/8th of the speed at which your engines guzzle them.

i'm not particularly proud of what i said and did to everyone in my mind. my only consolation is that none of you know what i've done, but it kills me because i live with this guilt of having thought these things about you.

i don't have to drive. i don't have to speak. i can watch you and your other half share the love i've never had the pleasure of receiving from my significant other.

the last few days were plagued with lazy photo days. unfortunately this is how people tend to kill their 365 days projects, and though i feel like i hit a rough patch for the past three days, it's not as bad as having an entire week's worth of crappy photos. must revive the project before i go for days taking my photos 15 minutes before the day ends.

then again these lazy photo days could be somewhat of a recurring theme. /scratches head.
