stayed at home the whole day and rekindled myself with female human anatomy of the manga variety. forever alone.

this will be part of my costume for the Halloween party. i agree that it's very lame to use "high school" as a theme, and i'm a little bit irritated that there's even some kind of hesitation to invite one of my best friend to the party. i almost wanted to blow off the party, but since best friend was finally invited, i'm obliged to attend. at least i can poke some fun at the others who are showing up in high school uniform garb.

i don't like taking self-portraits, but because this 365 project is running short of portraiture shots, i don't quite have much of a choice but to take even more gratuitous pictures of myself less everyone likes viewing boring and mundane pictures of everyday objects lying around my room.

i don't know if it was the glasses, her pretty face, or the fact that she looked like Makinami Mari Illustrious, but i just had to take her picture.

Day 83: So long and goodnight [12/10/10]

been listening to My Chemical Romance lately, especially this song. Gerard Way not only writes really good comic books, but he paints emotional and surreal stories in his band's songs. though i've sort of out grown a lot of bands, i seem to return to them from time to time, just to relive moments that are imbued to most of these old songs.

Day 72: 20 minutes/40 years [01/10/10]

one text message later and i am sitting in the restaurant waiting for my lunch to come. she didn't reply me until very much later, saying how glad she is to hear from me. another text message later and hours elapsed again until i get another reply. it's just like old times when she's not expecting any text messages from me, she takes a very long time to reply. little does she realize that 20 minutes feels like 40 years of agony to a person who is expecting a reply from the person he or she loves very much. some things just don't change.

Day 73: Grass [02/10/10]

i'm scanning the crowd for people i recognize and i see a few whom i have corresponded with in classes, but i pretended that i don't see them or recognize them. i preferred to see the enthusiasm all these graduates had in their eyes when they collected their gowns and how all their hard work in college had finally and eventually paid off. i felt proud for them.

Day 74: Maw and paw [03/10/10]

i'm always afraid that i'd make an asshole of myself when i speak to people i've just met. every time i tell myself not to screw up, i screw up anyway. and i always find myself thinking about my screw ups hours after the screw up and at times like these i wish i had a time machine or at least had some pre-determined condition about how i tend to screw up known to everyone who comes into contact with me. i could live with that.

Day 75: Leaf house [04/10/10]

one year on and finally all the pieces come together - i can finally start my goddamn research. next month.
