people take pictures with their cameras. a snapshot of a moment, or a place with the click of the camera's shutter. i have always preferred picture books over books with nothing but text because as the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. being brought up with comic books, the nature of telling a story with multiple sequential images has always been my preferred medium of narrating and exposition of situations and moments. lately, i've been experimenting with linking pictures together to tell a story. even if one picture is capable of telling you a story of that snapshot, i've always seen myself gravitating towards telling the whole story with sequential images. a cohesive narration of the moment, rather than just one or two worthwhile snapshots, is how i perceive storytelling.

and of course, why should i take the same picture as what everybody else is already taking? i guess i prefer to tell my story through a wider lens and help spectators see and understand what is it i (at least) have been seeing though my eyes and viewfinder at a moment. i probably sound like an arrogant hipster photographer, but that's just the way i roll my shutter.
